Tom Jacobs, Executive Director for Summit Housing, has been the Director since 2003 . His primary duties include overall management and operation of Summit Housing Development Corp. including protection of the organization’s financial assets, and ensuring compliance with Board directives. He has experience in development and construction of new facilities, property acquisition and overseeing operational needs of all existing facilities.
Tom has held his State of Ohio real estate license since 1988, with millions of dollars in sales. He has experience in commercial leasing, sales and property management and has owned and managed over 200 apartments, and a Holiday Inn Express.
Tom attended the University of Toledo where he majored in business.

Heather was hired with Summit DD as an Administrative Assistant in 2013 to assist the Director of Operations and Executive Director of Summit Housing with various administrative duties including property management, leasing, and inspections of all commercial and residential properties. As of February 2017, Heather transferred to exclusively working for Summit Housing Development Corporation as the Executive Administrative Assistant. Most recently in April 2019, Heather was promoted to Property & Operations Manager. She directly oversees the daily operations of all SHDC homes, schedules maintenance and repairs, coordinates all capital improvement projects with contractors, regularly inspects all SHDC properties to ensure everything is in good working order, and quickly resolves emergency maintenance issues. Heather also directly oversees all daily office operations.
Heather is active with the Summit County Developmental Disabilities Board and most recently worked on their 2017 Levy Campaign as a Levy Coordinator.
Heather has been in the administration field for over 20 years. She was employed at The Village of Silver Lake as a Bookkeeper/Administration Clerk for over 17 years. She has also been employed at the City of Norton as the Payroll Administrator.

Stacey was hired with Summit Housing Development Corporation in September 2017 as our part-time internal Accountant. She handles all activity in regards to rent and utilities along with providing support for the internal financial reports and audits.
Stacey has 20+ years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting and was previously employed by Hudson Printing as an accountant for 17+ years. Currently she runs her own fitness program in Stow, Ohio which has also provided fitness classes for the employees of Summit County Developmental Disabilities Board.

Kellie was hired with Summit Housing as an Administrative Assistant in 2019 to assist the Executive Director of Summit Housing with various administrative duties including property management, leasing, and inspections of all commercial and residential properties.
Kellie has 10+ years of experience in Graphic Design and Marketing, and has worked for various companies such as Totally Cooked Catering and the Best Buy Geek Squad. Kellie also owns a local photography company, Kellie Marie Photography, where she fulfills her passion for photographing families and children.
