Sara is the Superintendent for the City of Cuyahoga Falls Parks and Recreation Department.
Chris Filler
Vice-President
Chris Filler is a registered nurse and the Director of the Lifespan Transitions Center at Ohio Center for Autism and Low Incidence (OCALI) since 2007. As a registered nurse, Chris has worked with individuals with developmental disabilities and their families for over 30 years. Prior to joining OCALI, Chris served as an Early Intervention Service Coordinator, Family Resource Specialist, and Autism/Behavior Consultant for many school districts throughout the state of Ohio. She is also a past president of the Autism Society of Ohio.
Linda Evans
Trustee
Linda holds the degree of Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapy Assisting Technology from Cuyahoga Community College with 14 years of experience providing acute care and orthopedic rehabilitation services at Summa Health System and University Hospitals. She is an American Physical Therapy Association Credentialed Clinical Instructor and was the recipient of the Service Excellence Award from University Hospitals Ahuja Medical Center in 2015. Linda’s experience also includes serving on the Events Committee at the Dancing Wheels Company and School for approximately 8 years assisting with outreach, advocacy, planning and preparation for the annual gala and other fundraising events. She is the parent of an adult daughter with special needs who is a client of and currently receiving services from CSBMRDD.
Barb Vimont
Trustee
Barbara Vimont is an experienced compliance officer with valuable breadth and depth of compliance expertise. She currently serves as Corporate Compliance Director for Parkview Health in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Former positions include, Director, Compliance & Privacy at Akron Children’s Hospital, Deputy chief compliance officer for Summa Health, an Integrated Healthcare Delivery System that includes hospitals, home health, hospice, physician practices and an Accountable Care Organization, and Regional compliance officer for University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio, where she was primarily responsible for compliance and HIPAA activities for approximately 1,200 academic and community-based physicians. Prior to joining University Hospitals in 2013, Vimont worked for more than 17 years at Akron General Health System, starting as a supervisor in Health Information Management before becoming the compliance manager in Patient Financial Services. She then served as compliance officer for the Health System for eight years, obtaining her law degree from the University of Akron School of Law during that time. Barb spent four years as associate legal counsel, providing guidance on various health law matters, then added responsibilities of director of sponsored programs with Akron General’s Research Department before leaving the Health System. She has taught online courses in Compliance as well as teaching Health Law in person at the University of Akron School of Law.
In addition to her Juris Doctor, Vimont has a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in psychology from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor of Science degree in medical records administration from Texas State University.
