President
Sara is the Superintendent for the City of Cuyahoga Falls Parks and Recreation Department.
Chris Filler
Vice-President
Chris Filler is a registered nurse and the Director of the Lifespan Transitions Center at Ohio Center for Autism and Low Incidence (OCALI) since 2007. As a registered nurse, Chris has worked with individuals with developmental disabilities and their families for over 30 years. Prior to joining OCALI, Chris served as an Early Intervention Service Coordinator, Family Resource Specialist, and Autism/Behavior Consultant for many school districts throughout the state of Ohio. She is also a past president of the Autism Society of Ohio.

Kevin Pickard
Trustee
Kevin is a retired Service Coordinator, having worked for Summit DD for over 35 years assisting adults with disabilities in obtaining services and linking them with providers. Kevin earned his BA in psychology from Butler University, and his MA in Developmental Psychology from the University of Akron. Prior to working at Summit DD, Kevin also worked as a direct care provider for Metropolitan Akron Residential services.
Tom Armstrong
Trustee
Thomas Armstrong joined the Board of the Summit Housing Development Corporation in December of 2024. His career, spanning over forty years, was spent in the service of individuals with intellectual disabilities until his retirement as Superintendent of the Summit County Developmental Disabilities Board in November of 2013.
Tom has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education and a Master of Arts in Public Administration, both from the Ohio State University. Tom enjoys golf, reading and time spent with his wife, Tammy Armstrong.
